Kevin Heins – Accounting Manager

Originally from Eugene, OR, Kevin Heins brings more than two decades of corporate accounting and finance experience to SoundEarth Strategies as the newest member of our accounting team. His broad industry experience includes working for a global health technology company and a construction firm. Prior to earning a senior accounting certificate at Lake Washington Institute of Technology, he completed his studies in biblical literature with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwest College. In his spare time, he is a sports fan and games enthusiast, especially strategy games. He also has two cats, Suki and Whitman.

Brennan Booker, GIT – Staff Geologist

A graduate of the University of Michigan, Brennan Booker comes to SES by way of Dearborn, MI, and St. Louis, MO. He has a bachelor’s degree in earth and environmental sciences with a specialization on Geosciences and more specifically geochemistry. His experience includes consulting state and federal agencies in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) to formulate environmental impact statements, performing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, and working in the field to collect soil and water samples to assess environmental conditions.

Linnea Coleman, GIT – Staff Geologist

Staff geologist Linnea Coleman comes to SES with a bachelor’s degree in Geology from Whitman College. She was born and raised in the Lake Forest Park suburb of Seattle, where she cultivated a deep love for the great outdoors. While at Whitman, she served as a scramble leader for the Outdoor Program, taking first-year students on backpacking trips prior to fall orientation. Though new to the industry, she excels at research, and as a research assistant in college, she worked on a project measuring the paleochannel and modern-channel geometry in Yellowstone National Park using ArcGIS.

Lena Proietti – Administrative Assistant

A California native, Lena comes to SoundEarth with a bachelor’s degree in biology and minor in communications. She is passionate about wildlife biology, conservation, and sustainability, and channels those passions into her daily tasks supporting the SouthEarth staff. During her downtime, she explores the beauty of the Pacific Northwest through her art, hiking, and camping.
